Calex Automotive Recruitment are looking for a Diagnostic Technician to join the team at Stellantis &You, Vauxhall & Peugeot.

Location: 15-21 Progress Way, Croydon, CR0 4XD

Salary details:

• Basic salary £33,000 – £36,000
• Plus highly competitive monthly efficiency bonus
• OTE £38,000 – £41,000

This position is suitable for:

Experienced Vehicle Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, Senior / Lead Mechanics or Master Technicians with:

• Minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent
• Experience in all areas of vehicle servicing, maintenance and diagnostics
• EV / Hybrid experience desirable, but training can be provided
• Must hold a full UK driving licence

The role:

• Carry out diagnosis, repair and evaluation of customer vehicles
• Diagnose complex symptoms across a range of vehicles
• Ensure quality and a first time fix of all customer vehicles
• Communicate with customers to fully understand their reported issue
• Complete detailed video vehicle health checks to support customer decision making during the service process
• Work with the Stellantis Technical Platform Teams to find the best solutions for repairs
• Lead by example continually demonstrating best practice to your colleagues
• Develop your skills & knowledge to stay at the forefront of vehicle technology, including EV and Hybrid Vehicles
• Assist and train your colleagues through mentoring and coaching
• Maintain a clean & safe workshop environment

Working Hours:

• 42hrs per week (Monday to Friday), Saturday morning on a rota
