Parts Advisor / Service Advisor – this role would predominantly involve Parts Advisor duties but also include supporting the Service Advisors.

Salary

• Basic pay from £28,000+
• Plus bonus expected at £3,500 per year
• OTE £31,500+

Hours

• Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
• ONLY 1 x Saturday morning a month required

Typical responsibilities include

• Listening to customers in order to determine issues, delivering effective solutions and recommending parts
• Developing customer relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression
• Processing orders quickly and providing a swift service to departments and customers
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring stock is regularly replenished
• Booking/scheduling vehicle services
• Liaising with customers about any additional work required
• Estimating time and costs associated with repairs
• Tracking the vehicle through the workshop
• Producing customer invoices

Skills and experience

• Ideally having previous car parts experience in either a main dealership, independent parts department or parts distributor
• Ideally with a basic mechanical and automotive parts knowledge
• Experienced in dealing directly with customers, with excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Good attention to detail, and organisation skills
• Strong work ethic, and desire to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Practical knowledge of computer systems
