Salary

• Basic salary £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
• + team labour sales monthly bonus

Hours

• 45 hours per week
• Flexible shifts chosen Monday to Friday between 07:30-18:00

AM Phillip Trucktech provide high-quality maintenance and repair services for a wide range of HGVs, LGVs, and fleet vehicles. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join the team and play a key role in their day-to-day operations.

The role

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the link between our customers and the workshop and will manage their experience from beginning to end. You will schedule services and repairs, liaise with our parts team, suggest additional products and services to the customer, and make sure all invoicing is accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities:

• Interpreting customer concerns and comments and liaising with technicians
• Booking/scheduling vehicle services
• Liaising with customers about any additional work required
• Estimating time and costs associated with repairs
• Handling customer complaints and responding to customer requests
• Tracking the vehicle through the workshop
• Producing customer invoices

Experience and skills we’re looking for

• Previous experience in automotive service advisor role
• Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to handle a pressurised environment
• Basic level of mechanical awareness and a keen interest in the automotive industry
• Excellent listening, communication and IT skills
• Confidence to recommend and upsell additional products and services
• Must have a CAN-DO attitude with the ability to prioritise / organise work to ensure the workshop runs smoothly
• Full UK Driving Licence essential
