Vehicle Technician

Salary:

• Basic Salary £35,000-£40,000
• + excellent bonus potential £7,000 – £10,000
• Vehicle Technicians at this workshop genuinely average OTE of £47,000

Hours:

• Monday to Friday 08:15 – 17:00, with 30-minute lunch break
• No Saturday working!

You will be employed by:

• Eden Reading Vauxhall
• 38-40 Portman Road, Reading, RG30 1JG

The team and your role:

• You will work alongside eight experienced Vehicle Technicians – who have worked at Eden Reading from 2 years to 28 years!
• We also have three apprentices, a foreman, a workshop controller, a dedicated parts colleague, and four service advisors reporting to our Aftersales Manager of 15 years
• You will carry out diagnostics, repair and servicing work
• You will carry out MOTs if qualified
• You will be working towards productivity and efficiency targets, which you will be rewarded very well for in your monthly bonus

Skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Ideally with at least 3 years Vehicle Technician experience
• Main dealer experience is a plus, but full training will be provided both on-site and with the manufacturer
• MOT Licence preferred but not essential
• UK Driving Licence (essential)
