Vehicle Technician

SALARY

• £38,000 – £50,000 Basic Salary per year
• Plus overtime available at 1.5 x rate if wanted
• We don’t put targets on our staff, or have a performance bonus scheme – we believe in paying a very competitive fixed basic salary

HOURS

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday – 8 hour daily shift
• With flexible working chosen between the hours of 7.30am to 5:30pm
• Only 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-12pm (paid at time and a half)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE

• A Vehicle Technician with Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Certificate
• Time served experience – ideally minimum of 3 years
• Knowledge and experience of modern diagnostic equipment and systems
• Must hold a full UK driving licence

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles / vans
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify and address issues
• Perform a mix of technical and customer facing duties, including discussing repairs with customers
• Repair or replace components as required
• Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s requirements
• Road test vehicles to test repair work
