Vehicle Technician

Calex Automotive Recruitment are seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their clients team at Eden Vauxhall in Bracknell.

Location – 10, 11, Bilton Industrial Estate, Bracknell RG12 8YT

We are looking to recruit a fully qualified and skilled Vehicle Technician to work alongside the existing skilled and dedicated team at Eden Vauxhall. Main dealer experience would be preferred, however training will be given both on site and with the manufacturer.

Hours

• Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.15pm
• ONLY 1 in 3 SATURDAYS MORNING!

Salary

• Basic salary up to £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
• Plus substantial additional pay / bonus opportunities of £6,000 to £12,000 per year
• Giving OTE £32,000 to £46,000 per year

The role

You will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair. You will work towards productivity and efficiency targets, carry out diagnostic work and repair and service of Vauxhall and other makes of vehicles.

Typical responsibilities include

• Servicing customer vehicles
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
• Communicating job progress to the Aftersales Service team
• Complete relevant documentation (job sheets/cards, PDI’s, service reports) in line with warranty and dealership requirements
• Ensure that workshop, housekeeping and health and safety standards are maintained at all times

Skills and experience required

• Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and diagnostics
• Experience working in a main dealership workshop or busy independent garage
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ideally experience in dealing directly with customers
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
