Vehicle Technician

We’re welcoming all levels of experience to apply, from newly qualified Technicians to experienced Diagnostic Technicians.

Salary

• Basic salary £26,697- £39,019 (depending on your level of experience)
• Plus substantial bonus potential of £1,500 – £5,760 per year
• OTE £32,457 – £44,779

Hours

• Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
• ONLY 1 in 3 SATURDAY MORNINGS!

Calex Automotive Recruitment are seeking Vehicle Technicians of various levels to join their client’s great team at Perrys Vauxhall.

You’ll be joining a fantastic, established team and be supported by a motivating and encouraging Service Manager.

The role

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

• Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Complete electrical and engine repair work
• Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary
• Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out
• Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand
• Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Checks
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Level 2 qualified candidates will be considered
• Car servicing and repair experience in either a main dealership, independent garage or other car servicing company
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude
• Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues
• Have an honest and diligent approach to work
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
