£40,000 – £50,000 + opportunity for an extra £9,000 every 3 years
Salary
- £40,000 – £50,000 basic salary (range depends on your experience)
- PLUS earn up to £9,000 every three years in performance-based bonuses
- Any overtime paid at time and a half

Hours
- Monday to Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm
- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Saturday morning on a rota

What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance of vehicles
- Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues
- Use computer-based diagnostic equipment
- Repairing or replacing broken/defective parts and resolving defects
- Road testing vehicles to check repairs
- Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition
- Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed
- Completing all documentation to the required standard
- Carrying out MOT vehicle testing (if authorised)
We’re looking for Vehicle Technicians or Mechanics with:
- Level 3 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Solid work experience in the automotive industry
- The ability to work in a competent and efficient manner
- Ability to work as a team player and on your own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to carry out work to high standards to deadlines
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach
- MOT Licence (not essential)
- A full UK driving license (essential)
