SALARY

  • £28,500 to £31,000 Basic (depending on your previous experience)
  • Plus bonus potential up to £3,000 per year
  • £31,500 to £34,000 OTE

HOURS

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm (30 min lunch break)
  • Only 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00am – 1:00pm

THE ROLE

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the link between our customers and the workshop and will manage their experience from beginning to end. You will schedule services and repairs, liaise with our parts team, suggest additional products and services to the customer, and make sure all invoicing is accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Booking vehicles into the diary
  • Ensuring the customer database is updated and accurate
  • Support the profitability of the service department by using trained and professional sales techniques
  • Ensuring customers are familiar with the variety of workshop services
  • Accurately recording vehicle faults
  • Liaising with the service technicians to keep track of vehicles progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready for customer collection on time
  • Obtaining authority and payments for repairs

Successful applicants will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in automotive service advisor role
  • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to handle a pressurised environment
  • Basic level of mechanical awareness and a keen interest in the automotive industry
  • Excellent listening, communication and IT skills
  • Confidence to recommend and upsell additional products and services
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential
