Vehicle Technician

Vacancy:

• Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic
• Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualified

Salary:

• Basic salary up to and over £50,000 (depending on your level)
• + efficiency based bonus

Hours:

• 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday
• No Weekends!

The role:

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

• Carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Complete electrical and engine repair work
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
• Communicate successfully with customers where needed to explain repair findings and recommendations.

The ideal skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Car servicing and repair experience in either a main dealership, independent garage or other car servicing company
• Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues
• A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential
