Vehicle Technician – Diagnostic

Up to £45,000 per year

Salary:

  • £35,000 to £40,000
  • Plus bonus potential up to £5,000
  • OTE up to £45,000

Hours:

  • 40 hours a week
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (with 30 minute break)
  • NO WEEKEND WORK

You will be employed by:

  • Pentagon Vauxhall & Fiat
  • Greenside Way, Middleton, Manchester M24 1SW

Diagnostic Technician role:

  • Carry out diagnosis, repair and evaluation of customer vehicles
  • Diagnose complex symptoms across a range of vehicles
  • Ensure quality and a first time fix of all customer vehicles
  • Communicate with customers to fully understand their reported issue
  • Complete detailed video vehicle health checks
  • Develop your skills & knowledge to stay at the forefront of vehicle technology, including EV and Hybrid Vehicles
  • Maintain a clean & safe workshop environment

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
  • Experience as Diagnostic Light Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership
  • EV / Hybrid experience and qualified (desirable)
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
