Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester – Peugeot

Salary

• Basic Salary of £27,000 – £32,000 (Depending on your Level & Experience)
• Plus Time Save Bonus uncapped- Circa £12,000 – £15,000 on average
• Additional £91 per month salary uplift for MOT-qualified technicians

Hours

• Monday – Friday 8 am to 5:30 pm
• Every Other Saturday

The skills, qualifications and experience we’re looking for

• Ideally NVQ level 3 in Vehicle maintenance & repair.
• Dealership experience would be ideal though we will consider someone from an independent background.
• MOT Licence preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and bring a strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence.

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve

• Carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work
• Complete electrical and engine repair work
• Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary
• Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out
• Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand
• Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Checks
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety
